Beginning in September 2025, the association carried out the Correspondências project. The goal was to forge intergenerational connections through film - from viewing to hands-on creation, groups of different age groups (children, teenagers, and seniors) were invited to create “film letters” about their lives and the places they call home.

From drawing to sound recording, the project aimed to promote new forms of artistic expression, contributing to the building of a more attentive, supportive, and cohesive community. It involved the participation of the Passos Manuel School Group, which engage with the day centers located near the schools.

Letters were exchanged between these groups about the past, present, and future - introductory messages, letters to the city, and memory letters - which came together to form a shared diary. Building on this correspondence, we produced two films together, in which everyone had the opportunity to try their hand at different roles in filmmaking - sound, cinematography, production, and directing.

This project resulted in two short films, which premiered on June 22 at Cinema São Jorge.

Flores Que Nunca Murcham is a reflection on adolescence, on the challenges of growing up, the revolutions we’ve already experienced, and those we still hope for. It was produced by the 9º C class at Passos Manuel Highschool and the member of the Centro Social Paroquial Santa Catarina.

Quantos Anos Tens Tu? tells us about school days in the past and present, childhood games, and the magic of a paper airplane! It was created by the students of the 3º F class at São José Elementary School and the members of the Centro Social Laura Alves.
